FloodFlash awards season continues with another double-win

On Wednesday the last awards event of the season took place. The Insurance Times Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the general insurance industry with 24 categories of award on offer.

FloodFlash was up for awards in two categories:

  • MGA initiative of the year
  • Excellence in technology – claims

FloodFlash won in both categories, picking up the gold award in the MGA Initiative of the Year category, and bronze for Excellence in Technology, Claims. Judges praised our use of parametric insurance that helps customers get faster pay-outs even in the face of disaster.

Insurance Times Awards reaction

Adam Rimmer, FloodFlash’s co-founder cited the innovative claims as an important factor in the win. He referenced COVID related pressure on businesses as a key driver for FloodFlash claims innovation: “the team has crushed it this year. We are setting the standard for claims that help clients survive this period of massive financial upheaval. This award is the evidence and I couldn’t be prouder.”

Here’s how the FloodFlash team reacted while watching from home…

Other Insurance Times Awards winners included double winners Bollington and Aviva, as well as FloodFlash partners Romero who picked up the Independent Broker of the Year for the second year in a row. Click here to see the other winners from the night [PAYWALL].

There’s one more chance to add to the cabinet this year courtesy of the IBSI Global FinTech Innovation Awards. Can FloodFlash make it lucky number 13 for 2020?
